Having a weird problem -- after the firmware upgrade, the S60 Browser no longer saves passwords.
It still acts like it does to a certain extent: if I change the Privacy setting from "Form & Password" to something else it asks me if I want to clear the password data. But when it's set to "Form & Password" it never prompts, and it never fills in login/password info.
This worked *perfectly* up until I put the v20.2.005 firmware on it. Has anyone else seen this, or know of a way to fix?
i think its the security on the update which saves emails (example hotmail) but does not save pass. this is how they have set it

I'm not following you. What do you mean by email? I'm talking about S60 Browser, specifically the setting that is "Form Data Saving: Form & Password". This used to capture and populate my login info for, let's say, diggriver.com, now it does not.
i mean it will save user names.

Then what would "Form & Password" mean if it doesn't save passwords? And if it still asks to delete passwords if it is changed to something else? I'm sorry, but I just don't buy it. It's some sort of bug.
Did you restore an old backup after the firmware update? Then there's your answer.

No, I've had some bad Content Copier incidents before... Now anytime I upgrade I just put everything back on one at a time.
Considering some of the other stuff I've been hearing about this f/w, I'm pretty much under the impression that the f/w is generally borked and that I'm just going to have to cross my fingers for the next one.
