Hello, i hope i am not going mad here but i have two little questions and i little rant

Firstly i always use the browser at 50% zoom. Is there anyway 2 make the browser default to this zoom setting everytime i start the application rather than defaulting back to 100%?

Secondly is there a way of just connecting to my wifi?

Before you moan i now how to connect to a network as i am currently using wifi at the moment. I want to simply connect to it without using a application. I hate the fact that you have to select your connection type for every different application.

For example at the moment i am using my phone browser to post this article but in two minutes i need to check my email. To do this i have to going to messages and then select my mail box. But then i get the message of how i want to connect to the network, despite already being connected to wifi. All i wont to do is choose my connection and then have that as default for every application untill i disconnect it. Is there a way of doing this on the phone or with a third party application?

Also i have just noticed how annoying it is to post a thread of this length using the phone browser. When entering this in the field i noticed that the page did not scroll down as my post got longer.
Is this a fault with the browser or the phone. I created this post using quickoffice and then copied and pasted into the field! Has anyone had experience posting with opera?

Cheers for your time guys. I have tried searching but the computer is on the blink and i was getting to annoyed.

I think you're just describing some of the shortcomings of S60. The access point handling in particular is appalling. I think there's a psiloc app somewhere that makes things simpler, but it should really be part of the UI.

I think those issues are sorted out in feature pack 2. Not that that particularly helps us N95 owners of course, but at least they have taken the feedback on board.

Cheers for this mate, after a quick google i found it. Psiloc Connect.
Its great, all you do is set up a new access point called Psiloc Connect, set every application to use it, and it will first search for any wifi's you have access to and failing that it will revert to a 3gp network. No more selecting I love it.

I am hoping with all the software hacks around at the moment someone can solve my Browser zoom niggle.

Cheers guys.
