Suddenly v slow with memcard inserted

All of a sudden today, my N95-1 has begun to absolutely crawl (slow menus, slow switches between windows, slow everything)...

Turns out, if I pop out my SanDisk 8Gb MicroSD HC card and restart, all works fine (defaults to standard theme, none of my added apps available etc - I keep all my data on the card).

And when I put it back in and try to do something with data on it, it slows right down again.

Help!

This is doubly frustrating as I was chairing a panel at the World Editors Forum today, extolling the virtues of the N95.

Nope, I haven't

I'll be very angry if the card has corrupted - I haven't done anything to it.

Try copying the contents off and formatting the card in a pc.

Hey, I also have this issue. I thought it was an issue after upgrading the firmware to rid the phone of that virus but that isn't the case. So then I thought it might be that my memory card had too much on it (music, movies etc, I have the 8Gig card) so I took almost everything off of it and still no help. Then I though maybe the card had become too fragmented so I reformatted and still no help.

Now I've just grown to accept it and wait the 30 seconds for anything to open off the card.
