Web browser quits with "red" button

Hello.

I'm experiencing a pretty annoying issue on my 6110 Navigator (firmware 4.22). Web browser app quits if I press "red" (hang up) button. Usually this button puts an app to background and switches to standby display.
Is there any way to fix that?

It is not a bug. It is a feature.

Usually (since S60 2.8 a.k.a. S60 2nd Edition Feature Pack 2) the red key closes all applications by default. (Before S60 2.8 the default was not to close the foreground app.)

And then, if an application specifically catches that event and refuses to close, only then it doesn't.

So, the browser is behaving as applications should by default according to S60 guidelines.

Search for the NoRedClose app for a workaround:
