N95 8GB and low bluetooth carkit volume

Good day all,
Does anyone know a fix to the N95 8GB low volume problem when connecting with a bluetooth carkit (Parrot CK3000 handsfree)?
I have upgraded my firmware from V10.0.021 to V11.0.026 and this has not helped.
I have consulted with the Parrot installers and tried 2 new Parrot units -both same problem.
I have tried phone settings under Menu/Tools/Settings/Enhancement/Wireless car kit (set to default profile on Active) - but this hasn't worked.
The Parrot carkit sounds fine when pairing a new device and is loud enough but once paired, the volume is extremely low on calls - so I know the physical hardware is working (have also tested with 1 other cell make and volume was fine)
Any opinions on which firmware to upgrade to with the least amount of phone functionality bugs?
Please any advice or comments would be appreciated.
Regards,
