Hello, I hope sombody is able to help. I had my 6630 (which was a PAYG) nicked and my insurance are now dealing with the claim (home insurance). They are gonna replace the phone. Could anyone tell me what phone replaced / or is the equivalent of the 6630 in terms of spec etc etc. Any info would be most grateful as I would like to re install the tom tom software and get a phone that would perform in the same way.

Any help / suggestions appreciated...

cheers

The N70 or N72 would be closest, if they're still available (and use S60 2nd Edition like the 6630, if you want to use your old programs as S60 3rd Edition based devices will not run 2nd Ed. apps).

Thanks for the info..... re the software etc - appreciated.

Anybody know if the 6630 has an equivalent / replacement available in the shops....(a current model) any ideas would be great!

cheers

The 6630 was followed by the 6680 and 6681/6682. After that came the N70 and N72 (and N90). After those, S60 3rd Edition based phones came, and they won't run the same versions of apps you had on your 6630.
