This phone looks great and perfectly matches my needs, but is quite costly (obviously). Apart from ebay, does anyone have any ideas on where one might find it for an affordable price? e.g., a place that might sell open box items...? I know it's a reach but I'd really like to buy it and it's just outside of my range...

Do you have to by it outright, or can you have a contract one? As o2 do them on contract free on �45 a month, they have a free bolt on promotion running at the mo so you can have the unlimited web bolt on free of charge too. Or for �35 a month it costs �90 for the handset but you only get half the minutes.
I'd have to buy it w/o a contract -- esp. since I'll mostly be using it in the US w/ AT&T/Cingular (though I travel often overseas). Thanks for the O2 suggestion, though.
Am amazed to hear the E90 was being sold on ebay for �161 -- they're almost double the cost now...

They were when I got mine, sometimes you take a risk and it pays off. I've been stung in the past but this was one of the good ones 😊
I'm terribly envious... I've searched for good prices for months, but never saw a price like that! Hopefully something will come up...
