Hi all,
I've just updated my N95 firmware to the latest one. But the problem is, when I switch it back on, one of my applications 'Asiamaps' icon disappear. When I tried to restore phone from memory card ( thats where i saved all my applications, still it won't install. What can be wrong? Also, there's an application which I saved on my memory card whose icon also disappear. And when I try to remove it using Application Manager, I always get the message 'Uninstall Failed'. Is there any other way I can do to remove the apps? Thank you.
Some problems with my N95
most of the time apps need to be reinstalled. better to backup and format memory card and install each app again that way you will avoid any problems and conflicts
I normally backup my phone content onto my memory card. This is my second update. The first update i did and restore from card, there was no problem. So I did the same technic and now the 2 icons are missing even after restore from card.
By the way, one of the missing icon which I want to remove from the phone is unable to be removed. I opened the memory card to manually delete it but i cannot find the apps in the card. How do I delete the apps in this situation. Thank you.
check App manager it will list all apps that are installed and ones that still backuped
Already did. But in the apps manager, it says it is not installed. I'm at a lost already.
