Long phone call from Nokia care and they tell me my restore backup problem is because the model number changed to do the software upgrade. They told me the two times it happened and the model numbers used.
This is true. Stuck with O2 and you have to change the model number to do the upgrade. Sadly with the latest upgrade changing the model number back doesn't work fully and renders backups unusable.
Nokia didn't blame me (kind of them) just said to fix it I had to take phone to Nokia Care Shop.
