Hi! When I connect to an 'open' network (Excellent signal strength) I often get a 'Connected - invalid IP address' message when I try and access the internet.
Any suggestions, please?

WiFi connection problem
Sounds like the dns server is for some reason not assigning a valid ip. Do you know the setup of this "open" network, or is it an unknown one? (Be careful how you answer that, as if your trying to gain access to a private network it's against the law.) It could be that mac address filtering is being used instead of wep/wpa, but i would have thought you would have just had no throughput in that case. Or is it a known public access point?
