Vossor Bluetooth Rear View Mirror Handsfree Kit

Just received this from QVC. It was their TSV a few days ago. Bit confused though and I hope someone can help. They said you can transfer your phonebook from the phone to the unit. The instructions talk about transferring the phonebook via AT command or OPP (Object Push Profile) but with no explanation as to what you might have to do on the phone to do the transfer.

Anyone help me with my N95?

TIA

You need to install "Nokia_810_Contacts_Download_S60_3rd.sis" on your N95& it will add your phonebook to your bluetooth device when they pair each time.

I have tried to attach the file. If it doesn't work try Googling it.

Hope this helps

Thanks for this. Installed the file but it seems to be stuck on Processing my contacts. I have about 130 but it has been processing them, so far, for about half an hour! I'll leave it a bit longer but I think it cannot be right.

I think that happened to me. I just quite out by pressing cancel & it worked ok.

Have you solved it ?

So will this work with anything that needs OPP? I've got a Venturi Mini and could do with getting my contacts on to that.

On a similar note are Nokia ever going to implement OPP and AT so we can use devices like this fully?

Thanks

Hey 8Ball
Yeah this should work on any S60v3 phone to any device that needs OPP and AT.

I didn't use it on the original device in this thread (never heard of it in fact) but to a parrot kit & also a Garmin sat nav device.

Some phones just work without this little program, I think my 6230 did.
As far as I know there is a version of this contacts program for every version of The s60 platform so I guess it's a thing missing on The Symbian OS in general.

I came across it whilst trying to pair an E61 to a Parrot kit.

Hope this helps.
