Apple releases new service: MobileMe... for Symbian?

I just watched the WWDC Keynote 2008 and the presentations were, as almost always, very slick and polished. About half way Philip Schiller came on stage and talked about MobileMe and was summarized as: “Microsoft Exchange – For the rest of us”. Basically this service provides push mail, push contacts and push calendar and some other online apps and to top things of: a storage space of 20GB. This all is a paid service and should cost € 79,- a year! This all seems like a bargain, compared to Hosted Exchange…

At the end of the presentation I immediately went to www.apple.com/mobileme and was almost persuaded to sign on for this service, until I came across the requirements: Mac, iPhone and PC (browser and/or Outlook). So I’m really curious if this service can be used on a Symbian powered device with e.g. Mail for Exchange or Dataviz RoadSync. If so, this service would be ‘perfect’ for any mobile user.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed

(ps know this isn't a software related subject, but I can't post anything in the Links Of Interest forum)
