nokia maps - which version

I think the version number appears in verrrrry small letters at the top of the screen (mine says v2.0, wk22 b04 meaning, I presume, version 2.0, week 22 and build 4)

Yes, i have the original ver on mine on software ver 210. And mine is 1.2. Generic uk mocca.

thanks i can see it now. Somehow i remembered there was a different setup, in terms of the way the satelitte strength looked. But i may have been confused.

Does the gps work well with all you guys using Nokia handsets with Maps and GPS. I've kinda newbie with my E90 and haven't yet managed to get the GPS to work :/ Should give it another try but I'm a bit annoyed fighting with it...

How long have you left it to get a lock?

i had the same issue when i 1st got the phone, had it outside in the middle of my garden sat on a chair for 2 hours trying to get a satellite fix - nothing. Took it back to the store, they went through the usual , cxheck settings, propose f/w upgrade - all fine. They took it in for a check, 3 days later they called to tell it was fixed, only they'd given me a complete new phone as it was easier (cheaper) to do that than give the old one. Straight out of the shop, maps on and got a fix in 10 seconds. Haven't looked back since.
On another note i prefer Google maps to nokia maps, purely for the reason of not needing to subsscribe
