I just wanted to say that switching off 3G wasn't what I've exactly expected... I thought it will lenghten my battery time a couple of hours or less, but... It lenghtened it about ONE DAY!!! :O Geez, it's perfect solution for my battery complains. Anyone had similar behavior???

Yes it does krzych.
This was particularly useful on the N95-1 model, pre V20 firmware, when battery life was desperate and/or you live in a poor 3G area.
