Three Questions

First is Data Mover (mentioned in the literature) the same as Transfer? DM doesn't appear as an icon but Transfer does.

Second, I read somewhere that there is a better version of Quickoffice than the one installed and that it's worth spending the money to get it. Is that so?

Third, is there some way of placing shortcuts to programs and particular folders or files on the Desk?

I've only had my new Communicator a few days.

Thanks.

Hello,

Data mover is available in the download app. It moves data from old S80 based communicators to the E90. Transfer transfers calendar and contacts data between nokia phones.

QuickOffice: yes there is a better version. It is office 2007 compatible and supports printing. You can purchase it right on your phone. Start quickoffice, choose quickmanager, choose updates. Here you can find and buy the new version.

You can place shortcuts on the desk (standby screen) of any installed applications, but not folders. To do that: go menu > tools > settings > personalization > standby mode > active standby apps. Here you can set 7 shortcuts (5 visible on cover display, 7 when cover opened).
Folder can be created in menu. Shortcuts of apps can be moved to any folder in menu.

Cheers,
