Basic Newby ?'s for N75.

Hi,
I was hoping to find some answers about my Nokia N75. I have already killed the first one...<grin> Hopefully I will be more careful this time around. 🙄

I cannot find my settings wizard or my active screen mode the book describes. Does anyone know how I can access these?

Also I'd like to create some shortcuts for my alarm and other apps I want to use regularly.

I would love to find out if there is a program or way, I can stop the task manager and keyboard shortcuts the phone came with? For example, If I hit the 0 (zero) long it puts me into my media stuff, the 5 takes me into the voice aid, etc. Pushing the menu long throws me into the task manger, which does not show all the open apps and has become useless. I would love to get another program that takes over these tasks with options I could set. If not, I just prefer to save my memory and turn these off. I have already had trouble opening apps because I have run out of memory for running apps. (I have plenty of memory on my phone and card.

Any suggestions would be wonderful! Thanks!

The Menu key press shows three open applications at a time. You can use the up or down arrow to see the rest. Music player and Idle screen cannot be ended. You can use the Clear (C) key to close the highlighted application.
