Well, Ibought and installed an 8GB memory card, downloaded a trial period version of DvDfAB Platinum.5 and used that on my pc to converta Dvd to mpeg files, now stored on my pc.However, using Nokia Application Installer to try and transfer these files onto my phones' 8GB card, I keep getting the message "The content of the currently selected Nokia device model cannot be shown by this application"
What am I doing wrong and is there some further software I need to download onto my phone to make all this work? I thoght using Dvdfab Platinum was meant to achieve all this?
Can anyone help and guide me through what I need to do here please?
Simon
the movie files are just that, files. just drag and drop to either video clips or my videos folder. do this by using the phone explorer or mass storage, but a lot easier and faster if you use a card reader. you don't need to install these so don't worry about using app installer.
Yeah, just remove your memory card from the phone and put it in the little card reader that came with your 8gig card. Then put that into a USB port of your computer and wait to be prompted on what to do by windows explorer (open folder to view files). Now copy the file you want over to your memory card into the "video" folder and once the transfer is finished unplug your memory card and put it back into your phone. After a few seconds navigate to your memory card through the file browser and go into the videos folder and play your file.
Note: when converting, make sure you convert to .mp4.
