I just got my E90 this week. I like everything about the phone. I just cant get the GPS to work. The phone came from Europe so the GPS has never been used in the States. When I go to GPS>Maps it will sit there with the picture of the globe and just sit. I have let it sit outside for more than an hour and nothing happens. I go to "Find My Position" and nothing happens. Am i missing something?
Possibly. Go to Menu, Tools, Settings, General, Positioning, postioning methods.
Whats checked in there? At the very least 'integrated GPS' should be checked. This will turn on the internal GPS when required. If you want a faster lock, also check 'Assisted GPS'. However you will need to then go up one level to 'Postioning Server' and enter your phone carriers details.
Try turning on Integrated GPS at least and see what happens.
