I have an 8gb N95 which has the latest firmware and has been de-branded. I am also using gear4 bluphones and have also been using my girlfriends logitech freepulse headphones. Does anyone have the problem I have which is when I use either of these headphones and getting into the music, it loses the connection, the music goes off and then connects again and the music re-starts? It is slowly driving me mad. Is this a common problem and can I do anything about it?

I have the Nokia headp-hones and suffered this problem as well. It was intermittent but enough to make me realise that listening to music on bluetooth headphones wasn't all it was cracked up to be. I gave up and reverted to my Sennheiser PXC300s. I think a lot of factors affect the stream, including network signal and other programs running in the background. With network signal, if it is weak and the phone is constantly searching for the best signal, processor time might be taken away from the Bluetooth stack. Maybe try listening in offlne mode and see if that makes any difference.
Thanks for that I will try that tomorrow and see if it makes a difference. :icon14:
Tried that tonight and it did not make any difference I am afraid. Does anybody have any other ideas as I cannot believe you can spend that much money on headphones for what they are giving in return:frown:
I do a lot of car travel and use my N95 with my Parrot 6100 bluetooth car kit - I'm always playing my mp3's or listening to my podcasts in the car - often for a couple of hours at a time and have never had a problem with loosing signal.
Could your problem be proximity related ? ie do you keep the headphone receiver close to the phone ?
I've got a bluetooth car kit with stereo support (venturi) and a set of sony bluetooth headphones. The only time I get a slight jitter is when my phone switches to screen saver. Other than that I don't get a problem.
Thanks

Thanks for the comments. My phone will usually be in my pocket or if I am in the gym then it will be on the machine I am on. So distance will not be a problem I would have thought. I was just wondering if there is anything external that can effect it's performance? It was annoying before, but it seems to be getting worse.
