Thanks, Krisse, I'll have the full AAN review of this ready for publishing on Monday!

The trial version is utterly useless in that it only lets you play for *90 seconds*. Madness. Anyway, I'll dip into to my beer fund and buy the full game in order to report back.

Yes, Gameloft seem to be learning from the backlash over the Block Breaker demo... that lasted just 30 seconds!

Perhaps one day in the distant future, Gameloft demos may last for several minutes or more. 😉

i had this game about 3 years back on a SE
it looks and plays identical to me
Gameloft need to start giving decent demo time atleast a level on something like Blockbreaker or in a game like pool 1 full match in instant play mode would be good b/c 90 seconds is awful most that was spent read what opponent was saying to me lol
atleast the java port's are running out now what are in showroon leaving games like worms world party ,pro series golf , bounce boing voyage ,dirk dagger and one to be released
Have you noticed how nokia have only been releasing 3rd party titles since the games got Cr***d ,good move on their part
although i would like one of there titles b/c they are better games

this summer is going to be very intresting

I think what a lot of people are waiting for from these games are the multiplayer options.

For example, a pool game is turn-based, so it would be ideal as an online multiplayer phone game because it would work on any speed connection. Unfortunately it seems that Midnight Pool just has rankings, with no one-on-one multiplayer.

Hopefully as third party devs get used to the platform they'll put a bit more effort into the online features.

Quick review after an hour of play time: nice graphics, slowish ball animation, poor opponent AI (so far), reasonable interface, comprehensive options... Full review coming soon!

the players dont get much harder as you progress through story mode but i think you do get to select difficulty when you 1st start it,i think it auto puts you in easy mode unless you select otherwise

Hmm..... I went for Story mode and there wasn't a 'difficulty' setting. I presumed, the difficulty ramped up as you went along. The only difficulty setting seems to be in 'Arcade' mode etc.

your correct theres no difficulty settings in story mode ,i just looked,so it must get harder as you progress ,
but i never noticed it getting harder i won every match i played in story mode and completed it 1st time playing it last night with no defeats .
so stupid making it so easy
