E90 on T-mobile UK dropping connection

Hello all,

I have an E90, and think it's a great device apart from one annoying problem. Even though I live in London, and often have max 3.5G signal, once I start web browsing or connecting to email, the signal strength drops alot, often completely losing the connection within a couple of webpages. If this happens, it can lose even the GSM signal, and take up to 30 seconds before I can make even a voice call. This is while stationary, using the phone opened in my hand.

Is this normal? Could it be my network? (T-mobile has always been good so far) Should I get the phone replaced?

Apparently the aerial is at the bottom of the keyboard which is just where your hand normally rests when you are browsing the web with the phone open - maybe this is the problem?
