Hi

How do you transfer music to the phone if you are running a pirated copy of windows xp and thus cannot use errikson suite?

cheers

just a question, why are you unable to run the PC suite? even though you have a pirated XP copy?

Doesn't matter what O/S you're running, or how legal it is...

...You have several ways of connecting to the PC. Bluetooth, USB, or Infra-red. Most common (and easiest to set up) is to connect via USB.

In actual fact, you shouldn't even need Sony Ericsson PC suite if you connect via USB. Chances are that the moment you connect in 'Fast File Transfer' mode, your PC will recognise the 8gig memory in the phone as removeable memory (just like an SD card).

Then just transfer your music in the normal way. No hassle, no Sony Ericsson media manager (which is a temperamental and clumsy piece of software), and no configurations. - The most you may need is the Sony Ericsson device drivers, and you might not even need them either!
