I got the original N95 on an 18 month contract not long after it came out. I have 3 months left on my contract, so I'm starting to look at what new phone I might like.
Ermmmmmm...... we have:
- N95 8GB - which is nicer in that the extra 0.2" on the screen really seems to make a difference, but doesn't offer much more.
- N96 - which isn't even out yet, but just looks a bit prettier. (The digital TV won't have a network here, but even if it did wouldn't interest me.)
So, nearly 18 months on, is my only choice a N95 8GB which just has a slightly bigger screen? (Already got demand paging etc on the updated N95 firmware).
I got the N70 when it first came out, then it was less than 18 months (I think) later when I switched to the N95 - a massive leap forward. Why isn't there a massive leap available to me now?
At the very least, I'd expect to be able to get the functionality of the N95 with a bigger screen and a much smaller case, so at least I can feel like I'm moving forward!

You mean thinner then, as you cannot increase the screen size without making the phone bigger.

Lol! Yes, I do - so at least if they don't have new useful functionality to offer, at least put the same in something that looks better!
At present I'm still winning the arguments against the silly Iphone lovers.... it's important that it stays that way!
if you dont use wifi the 6220 classic is out , it might not be to your taste but it has nearly all the features of the n95 in that smaller package that you were talking off
not to forget the kick ass flash on it that i oh so wish they had put on my normal n95

if they dont have the phone you want why not see if you can get through to retentions and say something like
'' you havent got the phone i want , i like you as a company but if iam going to sign up for another year and have to get an upgrade of a phone that i allready have ie n95 , then i want a shorter contract (12 month) and a cracking deal from you guys like free internet , unlimited txts , free insurance''
thats just an example but you get my drift , use the fact they havent got an upgrade you want in your favour mate 😊
i managed to get a good deal with o2 when i done this 😊 i just went for the normal n95 again as the n96 isnt much of an improvement in my eyes
