Is there anything to beware of...I have my contacts and diary backed up.
So i hope thats it

The hard reset does not wipe the 8GB memory? How can this be possible?:con?

Hard Reset on all Nokia smartphones only formats the "Internal" phone memory.
MicroSD cards on the N95-1 and "mass storage" on the N95-8Gb is excluded from the auto-formatting process.
It's always been this way.
Thanks for the info Dez_Borders.:icon14:

I don't have an N95-8Gb, but I guess it's a similar process to ther N95-1 & N82
Menu->Tools->Memory->Options->Format Memory Card/Mass Storage
