I've had so many programs on and off of my N95, that it's about time i had a complete fresh install.

Is there anything to beware of...I have my contacts and diary backed up.
So i hope thats it

just make sure everything you need is backed up

i only back up contacts really and bookmarks then i reformat and install the apps i want manaully mate 😊 i find thats the best way as restoring settings etc can just lead to problems

hope that helps

Hard Reset on all Nokia smartphones only formats the "Internal" phone memory.

MicroSD cards on the N95-1 and "mass storage" on the N95-8Gb is excluded from the auto-formatting process.

It's always been this way.

How can the mass storage be formatted:con?

I don't have an N95-8Gb, but I guess it's a similar process to ther N95-1 & N82

Menu->Tools->Memory->Options->Format Memory Card/Mass Storage
