The official N-Gage site has just published a special multi-page feature on the upcoming strategy game Reset Generation, including four interviews with various members of the development team.

Read on in the full article.

You might like to know that the dialogue writer of Reset Gen is actually Ikona, the forum moderator and blog writer. One of the links on the special feature is an interview with him.

According to the Scott Foe interview the actual game is finished and they're just working on the online infrastructure which should take a few weeks.

It's going to be a commercial quality online game which is not just free but playable through any PC browser and emeddable on any site or blog. There are probably going to be a LOT more players than usual logging on to N-Gage arena.

That is absolutely fantastic!

Of course we can't look at just the number of players, but the quality as well. But yeah, lots of players -> more high quality players as well. It will also give some great visibility for N-Gage, even though "retro" and "next gen" don't necessarily go perfectly hand in hand, what comes to brand image.

But anyway, roll on August...

Of course we can't look at just the number of players, but the quality as well.

Indeed, but I was just trying to explain why the Reset Gen online aspect is taking so long to get ready.

The game itself is finished, but they need to prepare a great deal to make sure the internet multiplayer works.
