Hello fellow AAS users, its been a long time since I've been aboard here as a logged in user.
My 22 month E61 seems to be giving me a worrying and panicking problem nowadays. :frown:
Its happening like, nowadays it keeps on restarting once it the standby screen loads up and never stops restarting. :frown:
If the phone is off, when I turn it on, the nokia logo screen comes up, after sometime, the screen blinks to show up that it has loaded, and the lock code prompt comes (I was using lock code for security reasons.) I enter the lock code, and once entered and accepted, the standby screen comes up, and within 10 seconds it restarts by itself. Keeps on happening like a cycle.
Few days back, it was not restarting so quick after the standby screen comes up, I was able to quickly press the power button, and go to Lock Phone. If I selected this, and the locked screen comes up, the phone didn't restart.
But now, it restarts so quick that it doesnt give time for the locked screen to come up and restarts. :frown:
I already attempted a soft reset a la *#7780# which i was able to key in quickly while the standby screen was alive, and it did not solve the problem.
I do not want to do a hard reset a la *#7370#. I have got lots of contacts, notes, calendar entries and messages on it. I dont even have a backup, because the phone backup utility never works, and outlook doesnt backup the notes, calendar and contacts entries properly.
This is worrying me a lot. Please, fellow AAS users, help me solve this.

Edit: Some more useful info that might help. Memory card is not inserted. Nothing new is installed in the phone memory since months. Timed the restart action, as soon as i press left soft key after keying in the lock code, and quickly pressing left soft key again to make the standby screen come up, it takes 6 seconds before the white screen comes up and restarts again. :frown:
