App Manager Settings

Where is the option to allow an app to allow network connections, read/write user data etc?

In all my prior S60 devices there were two setting options in the Application Manager, one for overall settings and one specific for the highlighted application. The latter doesn't exist on my N95-4.

I just want Opera Mini to stop asking when connecting the first time and if saving a download. I've installed the various signed versions and it makes no difference.

When in App.mgr, hit the centery key, and choose Open.

Works for Java apps (with the little blue box in the icon; those with a red box are native Symbian/S60 apps).

Thanks - I assumed "open" meant it would open the application, but no it's the hidden settings screen I've been looking for all this time!

Cheers

What a nice tip, N/A! I thank you.

I had some problems finding the Application Manager in the beginning. In some descriptions, it said that it can be found under "Tools", but in my case it was under "Applications" ("Program" in Swedish). (Application Manager is called "Programhanteraren in Swedish btw, another problem for me.)
