I have just updated my N95 this evening and now have Nokia Maps 2?
Do i take it that my original 3 year navigation subscription wont work with this? Its telling me i have the licence for it etc but wont let me access any navigation stuff.
Sorry if this has been asked before but i have done a search and come up with loads of moans about maps....

your license is transferable to any version so it should work just like normal. when i upgraded to v 2.0 i still have my full navigation. in the menu go to the license menu and acquire your license. i cant remember exactly but its there so just search around for it.
Yeah been into extra services and it tells me i have the licence for the UK but still no Navigation 😞 This phone is driving me crazy now! almost time for upgrade anyway. 😊
yes, thats what i remember, you have to go through the procedure to aquire the licence, then at the last minute it downloads your remaining licence.
Treied it and tried it and it just keeps saying you have this licence and going back to the Extra Services home screen 😡
The window is now open and there is a 6 floor drop 😊
I might take it to carphone warehouse and tell em its fubar...... They usually sort stuff quickly when they think they have to pay out LOL
yeah many people had to keep retrying the license menu numerous times before it finally found their subscription. its a known issue with v2.0. keep trying a few more times, and call nokia if it finally doesnt work.
