hi i have found nokia 7650 phone and found that the phone is locked not just the sim but also the phone itself how can i unlock the phone ? :cry:

It occurs to me that the phone should display an address/ other contact number for the owner when locked. Perhaps some nice person can write a freeware app to do this....
If you pop along to www.unlockingshop.co.uk the guys there are sending out FREE unlocking codes, providing you sign their guestbooks...
Can't say either way if this is illegal or not, can't see how it would be mind, but, I'm sure the mods will censor this post if they deem the linked site a bit "naughty".... I unlocked my Orange 7650 the other day, no harmful side effects.. but then again, I cannot say why I got it done either :-?
I've been an Orange customer since 1995 and have no plans to change operator either...pointless me unlocking it LOL 😃
Should've mentioned you need to click on the "Request Remote Unlock"... The service only works with Nokia and Motorola phones... Oh, and you HAVE to be in the UK 😉 The 7650 unlocks like a treat 😊
