Hi.I have a question.
I have a N95 8gb V20.0.016.
When I tried formatting the mass memory,it said
"mass memory in use by other applications continue anyway?" chose Yes
After did it I tried formatting it again,it said the same thing.
I've tried formatting it and hard reset many times since I bought the phone. Most of the times were said the same thing,although I checked if any applicatins were running by press and hold menu key. Fortunately there were a couple of times succeeded it without the message.
I didn't any applications install into the phone and mass memory and didn't use anything in it.
I think it should be stop running any apllications in the phone.
Is the mass memory right or corrupted?
Is it a bug of the hardware or fimware?
Anyone experienced the same thing?
How do I solve it?
just plug the phone into your computer with usb cable. open MY COMPUTER, and find the mass storage drive. select all and DELETE.
are you sure you didnt install apps to the memory card?

I tried the way of your solution to the problem.
I managed to formatting mass memory without the messege and Then I treid formatting mass memory one more time without through my computer. But the messege showed on my phone display before formatted after all.
I can't solve this problem.
My phone mass memory is being used by something however try. And I can't invalid it.
should I give it up?
it always says Mass memory in use just ignore it and chose yes to format ,your getting paranoid for nothing
remember apps on phone memory still use The MASS memory to read Data , like photo's , videos etc .
so it might be that
