PC software confusion - too many applications!

Nokia PC Suite, Nokia NSeries Suite, Nokia Ovi Suite - and they all appear to do the same job! It's getting frustrating now.

I have a Nokia N95-1. Which piece of software am I best off installing?

I know what you mean King Mutard.
I have both the N95-1 and the N95 8GB and have opted for the NSeries PC Suite V2.0.

PC Suite is the way to go. I also have Nokia Map Loader and Nokia Audiobook Manager. Nokia Photos is useless if you have installed PC Suite, Lifeblog is better than Nokia Photos and its part of PC Suite.

......PC Suite ver. 7.0.7.0 now has Communication Centre integrated and as tkboxer said the lifeblog app is better than photos app (photos is on NSeries Suite), having said that I have not tried the Ovi one yet! (it will end up going the Ovi route in the end though me thinks?)

what i did is i installed the Nseries pc suite version from disc
but then removed it but kept media centre and photoshop album starter
and got the standard Nokia Pc suite which i find a lot better but managed to keep things missing from it what are only on Nseries version from the box
PC suite 7 is lot better than Nseries suite but in the future sometime OVI suite will probably become the standard suite for all

Hi All,

Its all depends on your phone and what are all the applications you used most frequently does matters a lot.... People who want Contacts editor and SMS option will say Nokia PC suite is better, People who dont want above two application will prefer Nokia NSeries PC suite because of its UI design n some application. But not so many people aware :con? or not ready to upgrade to Nokia OVI PC Suite as it may reduce their PC speed as its a memory swalling application.... So it depends on the phone n wht application you are using, Nokia is having 3 different PC Suites.... But it can be integrated as only one PC suite in the near future in which it may help for Mac, Linux users toooooo.....Keep fingers X ed :icon14:
