Syncing bookmarks with Firefox 3

Hi, i just tried to sync my bookmarks with firefox3 and PC Suite 7.
Worked without a problem.
At the first sync there will be a folder created in Firefox bookmarks called "Bookmarks at Mobile" or something like that... in german it is called "Lesezeichen im Mobiltelefon"

Then you can coppy all bookmarks you want to have synced into that folder.

At the next sync they will get transfered to the Nokia Browser.

..not sure, but prob the same as internet explorer bookmarks Syncing creates a new folder on PC (as Thrawn23 said) so only that folder in bookmarks is synced....if you want bookmarks from PC to be put on phone (how I read your post?) then drag any book marks into that folder on the PC, then when you sync these should then appear on your phone.😃

I am trying the way you both suggest, and when I sync first time I get the Mobile Bookmarks folder added to Firefox, and it syncs all the default bookmark folders (download apps etc) to firefox. So I replace those with my own bookmarks I want to add to the phone, and then sync again. But the sync does nothing and just says '0 entries have been updated'. Now the only bookmarks in the phone browser are the default bookmark folders.
I must be doing something wrong but I can't see what...

ok I've just tried again, but using Internet Explorer rather than Firefox, and it works fine. Are there some settings to change in Firefox?

Thrawn23 - do you set up Nokia Sync to sync with Firefox or Firefox 3?

I have used Firefox3 and changed no settings.
the only thing i noticed was that i could only sync bookmarks 1 folder deep
i.e. /Mobilebookmarks/private/....
all bookmarks in this folder got synced

but i had sub folder in it like
/Mobilebookmarks/private/sport/...
/Mobilebookmarks/private/games/...
and so on
and the bookmarks in theese folders (sport/games) did not get synced.

I had to copy every bookmark into
/Mobilebookmarks/private/....
