I think that car would have need a >125 Hp, coz 107 is noy enough ...but fits enough thorque 145 @ 4000rpm and lot of gas (500 Km in sity and I supose 700 outside.

Go for it if no other options

I agree with Fox hound especially a 17 magwheels low profile tire, spoiler the high type and 2003 model please really really WICKED in looks ultimate COOL.

It's a Ford, 'nuff said. I assume that it follows Ford's idea of shite sports cars (Puma and Cougar), in which case buy a Mitsubishi EVO or a Scooby, much better cars.

Its fairly ok, But its got 'main stream' sporty looks, but really doesn't have that much Grunt, How about an Audi A4? with the Audi sports seats, that little bit that extends forwards, wow that is Sooo cumfy!

the Mitsubishi EVO is not bad at all (trust in the big M)

alright. thanks for all the replies! im ditching the Ford Lynx and settling fopr something else - the Toyota Altis. It's really nice. Im not really looking for anything super fancy. Just something that can get me on the go and wouldn't be high maintenance in the long run.

what do you guys think about the Altis? 😃

nive car-gets the job done- you can drive it on sand better than a jeep (just trust me)-and the Fuel will rot in the tank

and that's probably what im looking for. something that will be perfect for city driving especially considering the traffic here in manila.

Yeah a Corolla is cool! My friend has an old one (it's his family's grocery car) and for a period of time, you didn't need to use the Clutch to switch gears!! Talk about F1 gearbox!!! 😃

yup at times my old car does that. but only if i need to switch from one gear to neutral. saves me a lot on the normal wear and tear of the clutch! 😃

Yup. Get the Altis. I've checked all availble cars here. Lynx, Sentra, Altis...Altis is fast, big trunk space, best of all, maintenance wise, every auto parts shop has toyota parts.

@ Foxhound: I was in Bahrain today, i was going through a local car magazine and there was a pic of the new 2003 Camry with a body kit and wheels and stuff that had "Sportivo" in the front plate, dunno if it's gonna come to dealers or it's just a pic.
