caller id not showing?

hi guys

i just bought a new n95 8gb, my problem is that when ever i get phone calls they all come through as just "call" on the screen instead of the name

Using the Search feature of this forum I found this:-

if it only shows the numebr and not the name, its because there are duplicate entries in your phone book or sim card.

call your network operator and ask them to send you a "sim message update". the fault you are having is very common , its not a faults, your sim just needs an update. it happens to many people who get new phone, gets registered with new sim but updates arnt sent through.

If you had duplicate entries in the phonebook, then the number would show up, not just "call".
