Pro Series Golf is a great game, but it REALLY needs some kind of tutorial to help people understand the controls. There's nothing in the game to tell you how to play it, they seem to expect people to know all the controls in advance.
The zoom-in is perhaps the most hidden feature: if you press up before taking a shot, the camera will zoom in on the area where your shot will probably land. When you're in this mode you can finetune the exact point you're aiming for by pressing left and right, you can choose a different club by pressing up and down, and you can choose a different kind of shot by pressing 1 (and I think the B button works too?).
