New 960i Questions.
Hi
1. Google for "Debrand Sony Ericsson w960i". There are several good sites that describe in detail how to get rid of your phone company's logo, and restore the original logos to the phone.
2. VJ Singh, and this stupid little disco management game called "Quadra-pop" (IIRC)... odd that VJ singh should lock up...try going into your task manager, closing down everything, and then trying VJ Singh's golf game again. I've never had a problem with it
3. Download the appropriate update manager from the Sony Ericsson website. Install it, and follow the instructions. (It will involve removing sims, & batteries, & holding down certain keys) - If the phone needs an update, it will update. If it doesn't, then it won't....chances are though, if you do find a good site to de-brand your mobile, then this is one step you'll have to take.
4. No. Check your volume settings. Also, be aware that your ringtone, message, alerts, and even alarm sounds, can all be different, and can be set at different volumes.
5.I don't know. I'm happy with the one profile. I can change my themes, and if I want to put the phone into silent mode, I just hold down the # key.
A few quick thoughts.....
1. If you haven't done so already, Back up your contacts & other bits before doing ANYTHING to de-brand, or even to update the phone!
2. If you're still having issues with the volume, or VJ Singh, you could try a factory reset on the phone, and start afresh.
