Hi everyone,

Searched google, but all site's that come up is telling how to connect N95 to internet not how to connect to internet on PC USING N95 8GB.
If you don't understand what i want:

I want to connect my laptop to Internet, using N95 8GB. Possible? (I am on 3UK network)
Also, if i get unlimited web bolt, will that let me surf the net on laptop without paying?
And if i am in different county, will it work? Going on holiday to Czech Repblic and i'll need internet =)

Hope you'll help.

Thank you.

You have two option...

1) Use PC suite on your laptop with a cable connection. Then select the one-touch-access option in PC suite.. You should then easily be able to connect your laptop.

2) Over bluetooth (assuming the handset is paired) : look for an option with you bluetooth software to use a bluetooth modem and connect to the phone. For dial-up details enter "*99#" as the number and leave username and password blank.

Option 1 is the easiest.

Be warned that you are not running things like Skype, and p2p software as this will chew up your bandwidth in no time.

MORE IMPORTANTLY.... You're unlimited internet is only probably applicable when you are in the UK. Going abroad means you will start to pay roaming fees. Usually this is per MB of usage. Don't be surprised if you received a bill in the hundreds of pounds.

Thank's for reply.

But what if i just want to check my email on laptop, you think that will cost me alot? :con?

Very little probably, unless theres lots of attachments.

However, its really worth ringing 3 and asking how much they charge, especially to anywhere your going abroad.

I live in the US and have an unlimited data plan through at&t. I use the freeware JoikuSpot to use the internet on my PC. Granted it is three times slower than my wireless connection at home it allows me to use my N95 8GB as wireless hotspot.
Heres the link: http://www.joikuspot.com/

As long as you have a 3G connection it works out pretty awesome, much props to the developer.
