😛

I ordered one of these with the intention of connecting a set of earphones so i could listen to mp3/wavs.The only problem with this is that it has a 2.5mm socket and standard earphones have a 3.5mm jack.
Does anyone know where i can get an adapter for the adapter ? :-?

I had made my own earphones by cutting the cable of the handsfree kit and soldering on a pair of headphones. They worked and obviously had mono routed through to each earphone rather than being in stereo. The problem with them was that they were very quiet and any background noise i.e being in a bus or train would make it impossible to hear.

Does anyone know if my new method would have the same level of volume or would be able to go louder?Any help would be appreciated as i dont have a clue about electronics.

WHY COULDN'T NOKIA GIVE US A FUC*IN MUSIC PLAYER IN STEREO WITH EARPHONES IN THE FIRST PLACE

Aah, you'll have to buy one of the other phones for that

The essential thing to realise is do Nokia think that business men want their PDA/phone to double as a decent video and audio player? Or would they have bought portable DVD players and decent portable stereos?
