Can't restore message backup. Really important.

I got an error saying Memory Full etc and solution was to format my phone. I did as mentioned but now I can't restore that backup. Backup was made like 5minutes before format. PC suite is saying that it's restored but my phone claims otherwise. No messages in the phone at all.

Please help. I have over 3,5k sms'es from my girlfriend.

What kind of backup? With PCSuite or on memory card?

With Pc suite. PC suite acts like everything is restored but thre are no messages on my phone only delivery reports...

Remove the memory card, reboot the phone, and without the memory card try the restore process again.
