I managed to convert the default midi ringtone to wav, thus making it louder. So far so good 😉

Why use midi when you can use wav!
I only wished i could use wav with my t68i, I'll never go back!!!
Anyway wav files are louder if loud is what you're looking for 😮

hmm. true. wavs are definitely louder but still takes up too much space than midis ...

True. But you only need a couple of good wav files anyway. One for the ringtone, the other for the alert tones. Besides more wav files are a download away 😊

I think IMY tones are the loudest, followed by WAV, then MIDI. The problem when you like a MIDI tone is that there aren't any good MIDI to WAV converters around. I've downloaded 2 from download.com but the results are dismal.

Stupid question perhaps, but why can't we use mp3 files as ringsignals? It would kick ass since I wouldn't need to have a several mb big wav file just because I want a long ring signal.

Indeed, I thought this would have been an obvious feature to include but it seems not :-?
