Im still trying to read about n95s as much as I can but few questions that I have and I would appreciate if u help me out.
I just replaced my k800 cybershot with N 95 8gig 3g(rm-421. v 11.2.011)
One thing that bothers me is that I cant seem to make the wallpaper full screen. I read on this forum that its not possible for some Nok models. Can it be done for this one?
Now, what it the latest firmware for my phone and is N95 8gig different from mine? What I dont get. I read somewhere that my N95 is version 4 and there is N95 8gig version 3 and 2. Is my phone firmware any different from other 8gigs n95?
Lastly. I'm guessing my phone is lock since i got it from the provider and unlocking meaning making the phone work with other providers right? so I dont really need to do that unless there is more to unlocking.
I tried to install things like ShakeMe, Nokmote, RotateMe but non of those i could install. Is it cause its not for my phone or cause my phone is locked or cause its not debrand yet? Also I cant even set my mp3 as a ringtone says files size exceeds 600k. Why is it doing that?
All the input greatly appreciated.
Okay, a little update. Did a little more reading on this forum and decided to debrand my phone. Changed the code and updated the ware to 20.2.005 and installed flipsilent 😃 + Can set an mp3 ring tone now. However, I still not able to install ShakeMe, Nokmote, RotateMe. 😞

you wont need rotate me if you have the latest firmware if you go into settings--display-- auto rotate should be included with the latest firmware mate
as for the other apps they need signing , please see this link here on how to easily get unsigned apps on your phone it works pretty well and isnt that hard to do i have it running on my phone and any app that needs signing just installs id recomed it to everyone who has hassle signing apps

I dont have rotate option in settings display. I think I have the lates ware.
I followed the link that u posted and now I installed those programs. Its sick. Thanks allot man. Ill be reading on what else I can do with the phone 😃
