Hi everyone, new here...just looking for a little guidance.
I've just taken delivery of my E90 and I'm trying to get to grips with it.
One of the reasons I picked it up was to access emails easier than my Nokia 6500.
The problem there was I could log into hotmail, read my emails but never reply to them - when I tried to reply, I'd get stuck in a loop of "Connection not secure, continue?" screens.....and then for a good few hours, never be able to check my emails again.
I seem to have the same problem with this phone too - I seem to be stuck with the same problem on this too.
Is it a Nokia thing? Is it a hotmail thing?
I see there is an email function on it too but I don't know how to get started with it - can anyone help me out there?

I think, that it�s an hotmail limitation. Since, even with others mails clients, it�s not possible the POP3 access to hotmail, only with Outlook and Outlook Express.

I have the blackberry connect service on mine and it works brill. :icon14:
I'm with t-mobile uk signed up to instant email and have my 3 email accounts running in my device. 😊

I believe that your problem is a setting problem. You have to specify the correct SMTP settings to be able to send email just like in outlook. If in outlook works fine it should work with your E90 too.
Find your SMTP setting at hotmail or your operator.

That's the usual problem with email but hotmail doesn't use POP/SMTP.
Windows Live messenger will allow you to use hotmail, it's free on WM devices but they expect you to pay on Symbian devices.
You can access hotmail on the Web.
Or you can use Seven which is free as a beta and works rather well. Not sure what will happen when it comes out of beta though...
