Hi - I'm sorry if you've heard this all before but whenever I try to browse on my N95 I get the
"General memory Full - close some applications and try again"
error message. I'm on O2 and the phone was unlocked (originally on Orange)
I've closed all programs, rebooted, cleared the cache and deleted privacy data but to no avail. I still can't browse. I have no problems with other aspects of the phone though.
Can anyone help .... please :con?
Check your memory status and see how much you have available, you might be out of memory.
What's your firmware version? Some of the earlier N95 firmwares had memory issues!

You won't like this answer, but it's time to FORMAT the internal memory... *#7370#
i wouldnt format the phone memory yet mate theres a few other options 1st like clearing the internet cache , taking the battery out of the handset for about 10-30 mins , making sure all apps are closed before starting the web browser ,
you could check your firmware as well but installing it will loose all of your data on your n95 so make sure you back up before installing the latest n95-1 firmware is v21 its pretty good but if i visit the full facebook site i still get memory full and the browser resets this is on my facebook profile page and this is with v21
what web page are you visiting may i ask or does it happend alot of the time??

The error message appears every time i press the web icon so I cant access any sites!
my software is Version 11.0.026 - that is pretty old i suppose !! - carphone warehouse said they could update free of charge so it might be worth it. Can I do a backup without having Nokia PC suite?
I'll try your other suggestions first though.
