I am a songwriter and occasionally have a whim of an idea or song I need to record and only my 9300i phone with me to do it.
Does anyone know if the E90 would be able to record in any higher quality than the previous communicators?
recording quality comparison between E90 & 9300
i was very impressed with the 9290 i had for recording, the quality is very clear and true. Not only that but you can do simple editing like trimming the beginning and ending of the soundfile.
Not so with E90. They really took quite a few steps back with recording and made it just barely functional for voice alone. (i was even recording bird songs in the mountains with the 9290's recorder).
The E90's recording, at its highest quality, has a warpped and hiccup-y playback quality. Sorry to say.
wow that is a bummer. Thanks for replying though. My 9300i is pretty dismal at recording too; from what you've said I guess that its probably about the same on the e90. If I wasn't addicted to landscape oriantation and keyboard I could move to another phone. I don't think I'm willing to downgrade to a pre-9300 one...
