...and "packet data connection active" messages. Constantly. Stop the insanity!
I know that the phone has to switch to voice/data in non-3G mode, but does it have to throw up a big message that it's doing so every time I make a call or hang up? I looked through the menus, but there doesn't appear to be a way to say "stop warning me about this obvious switch you have to make every time I use the phone".
In fact, the little connection icon in the right left corner gets a tiny little line through it when I make a voice call. That's all I really need to see to know that the data connection is on hold for a few seconds or minutes.
If no user-menu-selectable way to turn off these VERY VERY VERY VERY annoying messages, is there some hack that can do it?
