can anyone tell me how i can transfer sms(s) from my inbox and the my folder menu to my PC??? i want to transfer the msgs as they r important.. my phone memory is almost full and am not able tos end any msgs.. can anone pl help me immediately??

With the help of Nokia PC Suite Communication centre, you can transfer your messages from your Phone to your PC. You can do a lot with Nokia PC Suite too 😊 :icon14:
ya.. i tried PC suite.. but dunno y... only 100 msgs r getting transfered. i hv 100 msgs in my inbox.. i want to transfer one full folder from the my folder menu to my PC.. and beacause of that folder, my phone memory is full.. so wanna copy it urgently!

I want more information from your end? Does your handset has any memory card init? Which PC Suite version you are using? What is your PC Operating system? Have you tried Nokia Communication centre that came along with Nokia PC Suite 7.0.7.0? IF you have memory card on your phone, you can store your messages on memory card instead of your phone memory. If yes,
goto Messages options -> Settings -> Other -> memory in use- change it to memory card (if you have any) else, what you can do is you can take a backup of your phone messages using NOkia PC Suite content copier, I hope you know this information already. If you dont have any memory card as of now, please do take a backup of phone data ( Messages/calender entries/to do/ files) etc using Nokia PC Suite content copier and then once whenever you have inserted memory card, then you get back this messages. After backing-up the messages, you can delete those messages from your phone memory as you have already have stored in PC in the form of backuped messages. For your information, if you have stored any messages in My folder of messages, PC Suite wont recognise those messages, it will take care of your inbox and sent messages only. :icon14:

i got it! thanks.. this is wat i did:
1. install PC suite
2. attach phone to PC thru data cable
3. select get connected in PC Suite
4. after connection, msgs icon wl display all inbox msgs, which u can cut, copy, paste
5. cut and paste all the msgs u wish to transfer (the msgs wl get deleted from ur hpone.. but u'll hv a backup in ur PC)
6. copy the msgs in ur folder to ur inbox... (repeat from step 2)
