Help! M600i — Sony Ericsson M600i — All About Symbian Forum Archive

Hi guys, I really need help. I just got my brother's phone, a m600i. And there are a few problems with the phone!

One, there is this 'ghost' alarm. Like all the boxes are unmarked, but it still rings. I've been surfing the forum and I heard about this firmware updating thing. Can anyone be kind enough to show me how to update this firmware?

This is my software information:

PDA : CXC162071 R6A16
Phone : CXC162037 R9F011
Bluetooth : CXC162058 R3A01
CDA : CDA162011/2 R6A13

I really really have no idea how to update the firmware and whatever that is needed. If anyone can help me I'm very very very grateful for your help.

Edit: I tried using the PC Suite for Sony Ericsson and tried the 'Sony Ericsson Update Service', but it gave me a error saying "Failed checking application versions, please reinstall the application and make sure you have the latest version".

What does that mean?

Hi i have the Sony Ericsson P990I but from yesterday my touch screen is not working, calibration is not working, i did all i could do, did master reset, software update, try to do calibration from the Setup wizard, but when it went to calibration page it says when try to do that to far from the point 1, 2, 3,4 etc, if someone knows any solution to this please can help me

Hi.
Guys i am in deep trouble my Sony Erickson w595i has been not working properly. Its keeps on restarting after every 15 min, Hence i have installed software two time but problem is still there.
