The latest from my "techie" mate is that he received email notification from SE - officially available in the UK; it has also appeared as available to the Vodafone stores, this should mean that they start to appear any-day.
I'll keep you posted...

Cheers and God bless, The_Hog_Rider :silly:

Other retailers may be offering the P800 with a Vodafone contract, but it's not available on the Vodafone website and it has only appeared as available to the Vodafone Retail stores this week.
I'm talking about being able to get the P800 "direct" from Vodafone - if you know any different, please let me know how and where 😃

i got my nokia 7650 two weeks prior to the official uk release date off the high streets, manchester only had three of these to sell (i think)

how much is the p800?

I payed 299.99 on contact, but then again I payed 250 for a 7650, so this was well worth it in my eyes....I expect it to be around 250 on 'official' release.

Went into "Phones 4 U" yesterday and some tossy jumpstick of a salesman showed me the p800 in the coming soon section of their brochure and claimed it would be about 50 on contract and available in a month or so. I hate the lies, and deceit.

Vodafone have been doing a "special" on the 7650, 49.99 with a contract - normally 199.
So strange things can happen! Tell you what: if Phones 4 U do the P800 for 50, let us all know - I haven't bought one yet !!!

im surprised... in india we've got the p800, since a long time now... lots of people are using it...it catching on even more than the 7650. (though now after seeing the quality etc. i'm not sure if i should buy it, i would love to buy the HP Jornada 928 though or the Handspring Treo 270)
anyways its available here for approx US$785.00 (from the grey market)

But yes Sony Ericsson Has not yet officially launched it here.

but remember in India more than 75% of the market is run through the GREY MARKET.
