Hi guys.
Have a 3650 with 16mb card.
If I install dom to the phone it will not run saying no memory.
So I installed it to the MMC card with 14mb free but then the game does not run at all saying files are missing - I guess it's looking on the phone for it's files rather than the mmc card where it's installed.
Any ideas how to get it working from the mmc card??

The memory error is for the memory, not space on "disk"
So restart phone and try to stop every program running on background,
it needs every kB in there. 😃
No need for it to be run from MMC. Would be nice though 😃
my 7650 with 3.6 runs doom perfectly.so I guess it is a firmware thing.
For all Doom players
I have doom on my 3650 with 16 Mb card.
When you install doom you must put it to be resident in memory on the phone not on the memory card.
If you put it on the card it simply won't run .
<sigh>
It's all so much easier with a P800... even if you are running low on memory it runs smoothly off the memory card 😃
I just installed doom on my MMC and it works perfectly... try to install every file on the card...

You need a different firmware to be able to run doom on 3650.The version is published on the Internet is only compatible with 7650!

Someone has released a patch to get it working on MMC and it works fine on mine.
Do a search of the forums to find a link to it(I forget where it is)
Follow the instructions for installation to the letter- install all the normal Doom files in teh correct order, then the patch.

That ain't possible without MMC patch, as Doom 7650 is hardcoded to trying to find files from phone memory.
And MMC patch isn't 100%, but should work fine...

I find it impossible to run doom on my phone when i have over 35 mb of messages in my inbox (gb roms and c64 roms). I also find it impossibke when i have lots of apps and games on my phon even if they are on my mmc card. To free up space youu could always delete the installer files that reside on the phone memory even if installed on the mmc card. They can take up to 250 kb put together sometimes.
Ive got a 3650 with 16mb mmc and 4mb on the fone, i managed to squeeze all the sis files on my fone leaving about 400kb left on the fone memory as i have a few other apps and games, and it runs fine!!!! all the people who say shit about it doesnt work at all on the 3650 are talking bullshit and should leave things like this to people who know what they r talking about :roll:
