My school offers our lecture schedule as vCal and iCal files. I've already doe a small php code to give me a url that will lead to the current weeks file. Now the problem is getting the freaking phone to use it. Ive been rather pleased with my E51 until now but the calendar application is useless. In thunderbird/lightning all i do is select add->from url and thats it, nothing more. On the phone the calendar dont even have a sync option at all as they apaprently thought it best to shove the sync app far into the phones menus. The problem there is how to get it to synch with an ical file. ical has to be the single most common standard for this on the internet, still there is no easy wizard to just import from the damn URL. Intead it ass for server address, username password, this and that.
Does anyone have a clue how to fix this? Its supposed to be a smartphone, it cant be this hard to get something that awefully simple working
